I was a photography intern at the Marketing and Communications Division of Pitt Student Affairs which made me step outside my comfort zone more than I thought, but in the best ways possible. Taking a more commercial client approach to my photography and also switching camera systems has diversified my skill set as a photographer.
As part of the Marketing and Communications team, I captured the student experience on campus and with the community. Having guidelines when photographing an event creates the fun challenge of "how can I show emotion/engagement?" so hopefully these images make you feel some of the Pitt Pride.

Working with local businesses like Jess Iacullo from Hungry Jess Big City has been an amazing opportunity. Jess is incredibly talented business woman that embraces creativity and never fails to pitch unique concepts.
Working with her has allowed me to explore a more brand-focused area of photography that requires a different approach than typical portraiture.
